Something people seem to willingly misremember is how Lust truly was like. Even if she decided to help Ed and Al by the start of the last arc, she is STILL borderline heartless as to when dealing with Wrath and Sloth.
Some call her a sympathetic tragic character, well, to me she is THAT in the same way Mr Sinister is. Think about it, their goals are perfectly understandable due to their circumstances (achieving genetic perfection due to the loss of his sons, obtaining completion due to being created as a deceased woman's parody...) HOWEVER they have death tolls in the triple digits of people coldly slain or experimented upon for their needs. Never forget that...
