Description
A return to the wonderful world of Wither, my Twilek fancharacter. The background was created in Mojoworld, and took 17 HOURS to render. No kidding. And it was THIS SIZE!!!!Ok, mad Caps aside, this piece was also created using Photographs of my recently aquired Jedi Starfighter (Im a dork), which I thought would be a great ship for Wither to zip around in. The final work on effects was done in Photoshop, with tweaks to lighting and the sun, which really bugged me.
So enjoy this lil piece of Blah which took 17 FREAKIN HOURS to render. lol.

Very nice. I really like the colors in the sky. I am not familiar with MojoWorld. Is it like Bryce 5.5? 17 hours to do a render? Wow! Is that because of the detail in the picture or do you have something less than a 1 GB RAM? I was working with a 256 MB RAM and switched to a 2GB RAM. Wow, what a difference in rendering times.

Well, I work on an iMac G5, which has a pretty good processor. I did set it to maximum output though, hence the long wait, but yes, 17 is surprising for such a small image. God help me if I try a Print version.

Thanks for the link. Mojoworld looks a little like my Bryce program, but your program appears to do a bit more. I am definately impressed with the quality of your renders.

Bryce creates a fixed area where you have to model everything, and the camera can pick up the edges of the 'set' you have created. Mojoworld creates an entire PLANET.
