This is the colored version of The High Council Lineart image I posted earlier this week. I could tell you everything you need to know all over again, but being an incredibly lazy person I'll just copy and paste the entire thing and then add a new bit at the bottom, ok? good.A splash page featuring the Dalek High council in session, complete with Dalek Supreme and naturally, The Emperor. Its good to be a geek with a Modicum of Talent.
Each of the 'characters' in this only appeared breifly in a collection of different stories over the course of the serise, Gold Daleks briefly appearing in an alternate timeline they had created after World War 3 in 1989, the Black dalek in Destiny of the Daleks and improved in Remembrence of the Daleks where one commanded a taskforce sent to capture a Super Weapon capable of collapsing Stars hidden in 1963 before a rouge faction of Daleks could capture it for themselves, The Dalek Supreme featured at the end for 15 minutes of the story Planet of the Daleks where he went to the planet Spiridon to check on the (soon to be destroyed) 10 thousand strong Dalek Army and their invisibility experiments, and of coures the Emperor Dalek, shown just once in the now lost story Evil of the Daleks, rooted to the spot in the central controll room in the Dalek City of their homeworld of Skaro.
Ever since reading the book War of the Daleks which went a bit indepth about Dalek Rank and their leadership structure etc, I thought it would be nice to see all these different elements from the 40 year span of the show come together as they would normally. Personally, Im pleased with the result, even with the reflections in the polished metal floors etc.

You made an error about Remembrance of the Daleks. The Dalek Supreme wasn't sent to capture the weapon and deal with a rogue faction. The Dalek Supreme was head of the rogue faction, it was trying to capture the weapon to take back the empire from Davros and wipe out his 'mutant' Daleks.
In Remembrance, Davros and the Imperial Daleks are in charge, not the Dalek Supreme.
Good picture though. And great reflections.
Oh yeah, and all Doctor Who novels are uncanon, especially War of the Daleks.

Yeah, its true the 'Original' Daleks were considered the renegades at the time. Im just one of these guys who prefers seeing them in their prime, ala the new show.

I love both. I love independant Daleks, and I love Davros. I'm dissapointed with Davros' crappy Dalek casing in Rememberance. No matter who's in the casing, a Dalek Emperor should always be imposing.
And personally I think Davros is the true leader of the Daleks. He's as cruel, and emotionless as they, and can also think logically. Plus he created them, and by putting himself inside a casing he became a Dalek of sorts.
But that's just me. I'm a Davros lover(and I bee-lieve[uncalled for bee joke] David Tennant is a Davros lover).

Well, personaly I think they managed well without him, in the show he kind of became a weight around their neck, and they got slightly robotised (karma? lol) Still, The Juggernaughts and Terror Firma by big finish certainly give him more room to breathe, and his own spinoff story I Davros is amazing. Check em out.

Meh. None of those are canon.
And the Daleks did well with and without him. Well, the Imperial Daleks were designed to do well with him. It all depends on the group really.
The new Daleks seem like their reliance is gonna fall on Dalek Sec and the Cult of Skaro. And I like Dalek Sec because he mixes Davros and the Dalek Supreme. He's pure Dalek, emotionless, hateful, etc. and he can think illogically(correction to last reply, I meant Davros can think illogically').
I just love Daleks. With Davros, without Davros, don't matter to me. Though I would like Davros to make a return and have a nice, proper villain death.

Brilliant. A Nuremberg Rally of Daleks! It takes someone special to get the Supreme Dalek in a room with the Emperor. And thanks for recreating the feel of The Evil, since the BBC monkeys decided to burn the original, then beg the fans for scraps of copies. (Oh, I do love those morons.)
Seriously attractive picture - it's like TV21 comic has been given a modern makeover.

lol, Ta. Yeah, its pretty funny in retrospect when you consider the amount of damage done to the records of the old series. However, they are re-releasing old 60's material, but animated by Cosgrove Hall, by the guy who did the Shalka webcast. Something tells me the Archive manager who ordered the destruction of the old episodes would be pretty shocked if he was still alive today.
