DC Comics asked me to do a couple of designs back in 1999 to firmly establish a look for the Gotham City police force and Batman for all the artists drawing the book to reference. That didn't last long, haha. Artists want to draw Batman their way. Which, I totally understand.Related content

Been done, but I think that's one of those individual choices. Not everyone can draw him with boxer briefs and make it look good.
