NOTICE
This file is pretty huge for a Flash movie - we're talking 28,804KB huge - so it's going to take a while to load even on a rad-fast connection. I highly recommend fixing some lunch, getting yourself a drink and - if you're on a slow connection - filing your taxes while you wait.

So here it is at last! Heck, it only took me a whole month and maybe half a dozen failed attempts to export it at a usuable file-size. By "Duke Nukem" standards I'm about 8 years ahead of schedule.
"Chicken Stock" was made in the last quarter of 2006. For the first time in one of my animations, everything was hand-drawn then scanned and coloured on Paint Shop Pro. Unlike "Midnight Explosion," the drawings were not significantly altered on PC (other than cleaning up errors), giving a more natural look than the 'vector-traced' style of "Midnight..."
It was animated on Adobe After Effects and editted using Final Cut Pro (including the soundtrack). Then - just for DeviantART - the finished MOV file was transferred into Flash, converted into a FLV file then exported as a SWF file. Because of this - and actions to keep the file down to a reasonable size - there has been a bit of a dip in quality in translation (apologies for the Jpeginess), and may be some audio synchronicity issues (though from testing there doesn't seem to be particularly severe bad synching)

SYNOPSIS
On a quiet isolated farm, one young chicken dreams of bigger things. These dreams take him to the bustling big city, where he joins a struggling firm of fellow animals and changes their fortunes with his amazing invention!
