Softdawn is a rather calm and quiet cat. She is very respectful to others. She likes to be independent and not require any help from any other cat with the exception of the leader and deputy. Though she is quiet, she is very kind once you get through to her. She's very protective to her friends and family, especially to those she loves a lot. Softdawn is quite a grudge-holder and will hold for a while until the other cat has apologized for their actions. The she-cat is wise and intelligent, using both those to comfort other cats.

- Softdawn was bullied as a kit because of her small size.
- Softdawn and Settingsea actually had some sister problems going on through as apprentices, but soon patched things up.

Aspenpaw finished her sparrow, and turned to look at the apprentice. "Hi..Softpaw, isn't it?" She asked, not really sure of her name. "Sorry, can't really remember it the best. I think I was a kit back when you were named?" she added.

Softpaw sat there silent for a while. The day is too quiet for it's own good..It feels like time was being slower than usual. "Say Aspenpaw, what do you think about Leafstar's decision to not fight Sparkclan?"

Softpaw nodded in agreement. "Life would have been peaceful without war. It's just some cats just don't get it." She shook her head, some cats just want to start a riot.

Softpaw nodded. Her heart stopped noticing the return of the patrol...and the blood. "What happened?" Softpaw whispered.

"Must have been attack by something....or some cat." Softpaw's eyes widened even more when more cats injured came in, some carrying dead-bodies.

Softpaw didn't like the smell of the fresh blood coming from them. "How..?" She was completely tongue tied. She held her breath when she noticed a familiar warrior being carried. The warrior who was mentor to Fallpaw and father to Aspenpaw, Gorseblaze.

Aspenpaw looked at Softpaw, then back at the cats. She soon noticed her father being carried by others. The she-cat quickly jumped up, and sprinted to the cats, trying to find clues as to what exactly happened.

Softpaw notices the apprentice sprinting to her now dead father and ran as well. She looks down at Gorseblaze and sympathy and pity overcame. She looked over at Aspenpaw, thinking on how she'll react. What caught Softpaw off-guard was the scent of Sparkclan. "Sparkclan..."

Aspenpaw was too shocked to even say anything; she just stared at the cats carrying her dead father. She soon noticed that they were carrying her mother too. Aspenpaw felt her legs getting wobbly, and plopped down on the grass, staring at nothing.

Softpaw saw Aspenpaw plopped to the ground and quickly rushed over to her. "A-Aspenpaw?" Her voice filled with worry.

Elkpaw padded through the camp. He was glad the clan had taken him in. But he still hadn't made many friends. He was very glad that he had stumbled upon Featherclan camp. It felt like home already. As he walked he saw another apprentice. "Hello there!" He mewed cheerfully.

Softpaw looked at the other. She didn't seem to recognize him and she couldn't pick up his scent. "Um..hello..You're new here aren't you?" She mewed quietly.

"Yeah I'm new. Why do you ask?" Elkpaw pondered. His ear twitched. He wondered if she would ask him were he had come from.

He clenched his teeth, his claws dug into the dirt. I shouldn't have let my guard down.... He thought. He gulped. He felt almost embarrassed. He didn't know what to say. "I came from... somewhere..."He huffed under his breath.

Softpaw raised an eyebrow, but noticed how uncomfortable Elkpaw was. "Oh..Sorry if I made you uncomfortable.."

Elkpaw's eyes opened wide. "Oh, it's fine!" He said, alarmed. He hadn't meant to make HER feel uncomfortable. "Umm... I... I'm weird, I know, but you seem like a nice cat, I hope we can still be friends!" He barked.
