Some angsty Softkit momentSoftpaw still has nightmares where she's being bullied back as a kit. And how she would try to get her sister, Settingpaw to help her. But she never did. Thus the confusing relationship with Settingpaw and Softpaw.

What program did you use to do the glitch effect? An animating program?

I used Photoshop. There are some effects that can help make you look like the image is glitching out but you would have to do it several times and animate it.

Settingpaw walked over to her sister. "Softpaw? Are.....are you ok?" she asked softly, sitting down in front of her.

Softpaw quickly wiped away her tears, making it look like she's rubbing her eye. "What makes you say that?" Softpaw ignoring the slight brittle voice she had.

"Your crying. Why?" she asked softly. Settingpaw the the tears before Softpaw had wiped them away.

"Look! Can we not talk about this here?!" Softpaw quietly snapped at Settingpaw. She rose up from her bedding as she made her way outside the den.

Settingpaw's eyes widened and turned her head to see her sister padding out of then den. Settingpaw narrowed her eyes and a frown grew on her face. 'Why do you keep yelling at me Softpaw?! I don't get it, what did I do?!' she thought as she turned and went over to her bedding and sat down, looking at the ground.

Softpaw took this moment to relax a bit. She held this grudge against Settingpaw because she was there for her back when she was a kit. She look over her shoulder. "Well you want answers right?"

Settingpaw turned her head to look at Softpaw and nodded once. "Yes, i do."

"Than get out here, you don't want to wake up the others do you?" Softpaw flicked her tail, gesturing Settingpaw to come closer.

Settingpaw slowly padded toward Softpaw and sat down next to her. She looked away for a moment and then looked back at her sister. "So?" she asked quietly.

Softpaw took deep breaths. Without looking at Setting paw but at the ground, she asked. "Well..what do you want to know first?"

"Well first, why did you snap at me when i asked if you were ok?" she said looking away.

"I..I remembered something bad. It kinda triggered me."

"Well, what was it?"

"......" To Softpaw, just talking about that was painful enough. "It was back to our kit-hood.

"What happened to make you cry now? No leaving anything out either." she said as she gave her sister a worried look.

Her eyes darken as she remembered the memory. "You never saved me..." She said in a whisper.

"Huh? What do you mean i never saved........you......." she said, dragging off as she remembered. But she remembered something else as well. "Well, your wrong." Settingpaw said as she looked at the ground.

"I'm wrong?" She than turned her head, eyes filled with anger. "I'm wrong? I needed you the most when the others were bullying me! Short-stack! Tiny! They called me names and pushed me around!" Her voice sounded livid before turning brittle. "You were suppose to be my hope...my hero even....but you never came..."

Settingpaw shot Softpaw an angry glare. "You think I didn't try?! You think I liked seeing you bullied by others?! Well, I didn't! Every night i confronted them after you went to sleep! EVERY NIGHT!" She let her voice soften a bit. "And every night was the same result....... they didn't stop and i was worried that they were really going to hurt you Softpaw....... So I stood up for you again just like the other nights......." Settingpaw sighed, but continued. "And you know what Softpaw? I wasn't born with my ankle broken. They did this to me.........." Settingpaw dragged off. "Softpaw, I'm sorry i couldn't be there for you alot. But I tried, and I need you to see that. Softpaw....... I'm sorry." she said as she glanced at her sister.

Staring at her sister with a shock expression. Her leg, was because of them? Tears than began to leak from her eyes as she placed her head on Settingpaw's shoulder. "You..hic..could have told me." Softpaw trying to say things between her sobs because now, all her feelings have poured out, it has overflown. "If I knew than I wouldn't have to act so rough to you...you are my dear sister and all I have left to live in this clan after mom died. I don't want to lose you too....I so sorry...I so sorry."

Settingpaw smiled as tears began to fall from her own eyes. "I know. I should have told you earlier. Things would've been alot different for the both of us......" Settingpaw smiled as she curled her tail around her sister and laid her head gently over Softpaw's. "I don't want to lose you either, Softpaw....." she said quietly.
