i sit on the edge of my porch waiting for nothing
i dont expect anyone to ever come
out of the corner of my eye
i see a blue jay go by
not knowing if truely it was there
i wait and think of u
is it wrong to wait for so long
i know ull never leave but i wonder
when you will come home
i miss u
its been so long since ive seen your face
it seems like only yesterday me and you where playing outside
letting the world pass us by
what ever happened
why did it all have to leave
what is it that i wait for

im not sure what it is anymore
but ill just sit here and wait right on this porch
if i see u again
i want u to know i thought about u while you where gone
know matter how far u went
