Oh Twilight... Sooo what about them books, huh? Because I felt like I was being driven crazy. Painting details is cool and all, but this had to be made in little doses. Β Well, at least now I know how to paint a book spine! I won't even mention how long this took me as I had it sketched before season 5 aired and I redid it all at a later date. Still need to work on them crystals.So there it is - my take on the library.
I better not even say I'm finally back because I don't trust myself...

Oh my gosh SO BEAUTIFUL.Β Easily one of the most gorgeous libraries I've ever seen, fictional or otherwise.Β I just LOVE the blue, green, and purple color scheme, as well as the statue of Celestia in the center.

Devinian, you are my inspiration. The first fanart I remember seeing was Piercing the Sky, and that was my inspiration to start drawing. The inspiration for me to buy a drawing tablet, to open a deviantart account, to sketch every day for hours on end (At least recently), and to continue drawing ponies. It has been my dream to do a work with the amount of detail yours have.

The detail is really good, But i think that Twillight and Spike looks a little lacking in comparison because of that. A simple suggestion is that you outline them with black or a similar darker color. That way they still stand out in a way

I was actually outlining characters at the beginning to create some sort of animated movie effect, but many people advised heavily against it.
