I accidentally uploaded this instead of saving this to my stash so I could write up a explanation later. So now I came back to alter that.

Okay, odd idea that has stuck around and I finally could put out.
I'm still sort of involved in the Warriors stuff, Jayie got me involved but Zee-Stitch and her Starless comic has officially hooked me in (GO READ IT NOW ITS REALLY GOOD). Speaking of that comic I'd like to go into more about the afterlife in Warriors. So its cannon that if a cat is either forgotten by the living or killed in combat, they go poof. Now, one fo the things that irks me in stories is the concept of dieing in the afterlife. For me, it seems like a cheap way to get rid of a problem or cause conflict/risk for dead characters. I mean the whole point of having a afterlife is that something lives on even if you die so I find it stupid to kill off what's already dead. Either have a afterlife or don't, I don't care which you have for your story but be consistent and learn to be creative with the restrictions set.
Anyway, rant over, I remember that I saw a fan thinking that cats that die/vanish in the afterlife simply come back as a different cat. I sort of like this and this got me thinking what happens to the Dark Forest kitties. Well here's my idea.
Dark forest cats will get reincarnated like any other cat. Only because of their dark deeds some form of punishment is administered depending on the crime/cat. Thus a I thought when Tigerstar (the old villain not the current one) comes back, he's come back as a kitty pet. And not just any but one who is stunted with a bad digestive system (he died being gored by Scourge after all) which makes him a weaker, smaller cat. He's reborn in a full blooded Maine Coon so he still gets big but has to live with knowing he's about half the size of his family. So yeah inevitably he has to learn to deal with the feelings of inadequacy and jealousy without letting them consume him.
And here's the kicker, none of the bad cats that come back remember much from there past lives. But StarClan can and can see him as he really is and aren't as quick to forgive him.
So I came up with a story about how the reincarnates Tigerstar (known as Roaring and later Roaring Thunder) struggles with weird dreams of dark deeds and wanting more then kitty pet life. Eventually it leads him to seeking out the clans and attempting to join and help them. All while StarClan is working against him and slowly uncovering his past sins. I also imagine he's meet the other villains who have come back and they'd join a small group. The series would be called "Defying the Stars" and I think it be a unique way of adding to the universe and a good story.
Too bad I have no intention of adding more beyond this. XD
Anyway, the image came out great and really proud of it (might add the background later as a separate image with how good it came out).
Might also go back and do some other reincarnated Dark forest kitties if I feel like it. No promises though.
