One of my RL friends likes to draw ponies. LOTS of ponies. And it seemed to have rubbed off on me as I found myself drawing ponies in my spare time. And not just any ponies but ponified versions of the Danny Phantom cast. I don't know why I just did. :'D
Seriously, 1/4 of my scetchbook is filled with the buggers. I even went into serious detail over their cutey marks and the meanings of them.
So here, share in my weird obsession for now while I ramble on and on to no one in particular.

I started off, of course, with the main character of the show, Danny Phantom, human alias Danny Fenton.
As a pony, he's pretty plan, the only thing interesting about him is the slight paleness of his skin (gained after the accident that gave him his powers). He doesn't even sport a cute mark, he uses make up to cover the one you see on his rump (doesn't want others knowing about his alter ego). The lack of a cutey mark is not uncommon as ponies don't tend to get them until their teen years rather then as foals in this universe. But his slim, short build gets him bullied along with his aparent lack of talent.
That all changes when he goes ghost. Danny Phantom is a bit taller with longer mane then his plan pony counter part. He has also been embued with wings AND a horn, giving fast mobility in the air and powerful magic. Alicorns are rare, when most ponies pass and take up their ghost form, they transended to unicorn or pegasus, only halfas or exceptionally powerful ghosts become alicorns (headcanon is because halfas are stuck between zones of death and life, ghostly form can't decide and so takes on both aspects). This makes him something both hated and marveled at in the ghost community, always tested by a variety of pony and ghost opponents, some wishing to capture him for his rariety. Whether through luck or hidden skill he continues to beat them back and barely have time to keep up with highschool life.
It was rather fun coming up with a design for this guy. The cutey mark is obviously the mark he has on his outfit from the show, not much creatifity there. His unique ability is his ghost self and his mastery over it so he doesn't get much more complicated then that. The coloration was easy to pick out too, only made some slight changes to reflect my own interests. All and all, not bad. May do more, may not. We'll see.
