Hey look, I actually got something done and up in a timely manor.

So with the end of MLP FIM here, I really wanted to draw something up to celebrate its passing. Yes its sad to see it go but honestly I was worried the show would go on so long it loose what made it good in the first place. I mean I do think may hav egone on a few seasons too long but what we got was still good in many cases, and there was some truely amazing episodes that reminded me why I started watching in the first place. So its only fitting I post a illustration on the last day the final three episodes aired (in america, I know and saw snippets of the final episodes taht were in a different language but I don't count as they weren't officially TV broadcasted in America). And who better then the two sisters who started it all setting off as the land glows with their passing as monarchs.

I had pondered drawing up the mane six as a way to say goodbye but couldn't think of anything good. But it felt right with Celestia and Luna, the image for them came to me and seemed so appropriate that I could not draw it up. It took some work around considering my job but I'm happyy I finsihed it up and it came out so beautiful. Luna and Celestia are surprisingly easy to draw though some hiccups did occur with the wings. Coloring was mostly easy too though Celestia's mane was a little bit of a struggle. As for the back ground and shading, I had pondered doing it in the "My little Pony" style but opted to do it in my own. For one, I didn't have the time or patient to do multiple attempts at something I didn't intend to replicate in the future (consideirng my job and all). And two consdiering how other artists depicted many of the characters and scnes outside the shows stlye before, I felt it was fine to do my own style. And you know what it came out great.

I don't have much else to say beyond that. Sad but happy is what I think and I really don't think this is an end to the fandom. If anything this is only a beginning to what is to become. Now with it concluded there so much more that can come from it. I really hope it continues on into a shining new era and I hope we never forget all that it came from and what it meant to us.
