And here's the second design I promised Rinja: Kirijah's mommy Shamari. She's not based off any one design, just fairly typical lioness, so I kinda just experimented around with her colors. In the process, I came up with a fairly interesting story.

Shamari is born into a small family pride in the Land of the Lawless. She is of no important lineage: her family having been rouges and with no memory of any royal or profound blood mingling into her line. But despite this, she is blessed with a unusually pale pelt and blue eyes: iconic to the long lost Spirit Pride. But her family feels little concern for this as they are humble folk, deciding to love her and give her the same treatment her siblings received. So Shamari grew up a happy and fairly normal childhood. As she grew older, she learned how to hunt both on her own and in a group as well as how to defend herself from rouge males and evade pride territories. By the time she was in her mid teens, she was ready to face the world; to go off on her own and find a mate and pride, to raise a family of her own. So off she sets, bidding goodbye to all she's known.
At first, everything is fine: its a bit lonely but her pride's training keep's her out of harms way. Months go by without incident till she is walking along the fringes of the Clifflands and the old Spirit Lands. The sound of laughter alerts her to hyenas and upon seeing a large clan on the horizon, flees before they see her. In her panic to get away, she becomes lost, wandering about aimlessly. A few days later find her starved and weak along with lost, so when the smell of a pride reaches her, she's quick to seek them out. However, the old cautionary tales from her parents leads her to approach them like she's approaching a skittish herd: down wind and out of sight.
Although she originally does this as to not scare or anger this new pride, it saves her from a fate worse then death.
Once close enough, she notices something peculiar: all the residents whether their male, female or cub all sport pale or near white coats and colors. They look some what reminecent of what her parents told her of the Spirit pride. Yet theirs nothing divine about them for the lions all look like an arrogant and beastly lot and the females look broken and solemn. In a startling realization, Shamari realizes that these males are keeping pale or near white lionesses hostage in hopes of breeding pure white offspring, abusing and torturing the lionesses till they break mentally.
So shocked by all this that she ends up blowing her cover, accidently tripping over a rock in her haste to leave. The lions see her and upon noticing the paleness of her pelt and blue of her eyes, there expressions become one of hunger, licking there lips at such a prime lioness having walked into their midst. The looks in their eyes are enough for Shamari as she rushes off at break neck speed: the fear of becoming another lioness in their harem pushing her to move at a speed she has never reached before now. But the days of little to eat or rest take their toll as her, her pursueers slowly begin to catch up to her. Finally realizing her fate, she turns to face them and fight, intent on dying instead of go with them. She fights with everything she has, clawing at them mercilessly and with a rage that is enough to scare off a few assalents. But she does eventually fall, she had no chance against multiple full grown lions, the exhastion and blood loss taking their toll. As she lays their, slowly falling into unconciousness, she does not realize the noise of their scuffle alerts the pride the land the had trespassed onto: The Black Rock Pride. As her assalents gloat over their victory, the young prince Seyidi and a band of his lionesses catch them off guard and quickly send them running. It is then that they notice the pale gray lioness lying in the grass.

That's all I got: I'll leave the rest to Rinja to have fun with. Mind you, she can change any or all aspect of the story if she likes, or the design for that matter. I'm just decided to have fun with this.
So we all know she ends up with Seyidi but the question now is how that comes about. Is Seyidi a good lion or a bad one? Does he fall in love with her and she him or does he force himself upon her? Did she escape one fate only to stumble into another worse one?
