A simple trick to detect most (but not all) hacking is to go into task manager and if the top graph starts platowing then your computer is eather doing a lot of stuff at once or you are being hacked.

we're still trying to figure that out, my theory is the virus(s) overloaded EVERYTHING at once to the point that either the fans failed altogether, or they couldn't cool it enough to compensate for the heat, and....you know the rest............

didn't explode, but yes, fire, smoke and fire, smoke and fire and melted plastic, ever since then i have worked to understand computers in their entierty (is majoring in CS with CE minor) to ensure it never happens again.

ok, NOW you're pushing your luck, but sadly, i must agree, technology hates me, which means I should probably remove my name from the experimental prosthetics list (yes, i'm actually on that thing, cause i wanna have a fun bionic arm if i lose mine, not a dull pretested one), and to make things clear, they don't cut the stuff off, if i am in an accident, instead of a tested prosthetic, i get a prototype........ok, the more i think about it, the more this sounds like a REALLY bad idea

They actually have those kind of projects in the works? Wow. Now that I think about, I have heard something about there being advancements in the field of cybernetic prostetics as of late. Why do I sound like Bruce Wayne all of a sudden? 
A bionic arm would be pretty cool. Especially if your one of the firsts. How do you sign up for a thing like that? Hopefully you wont be one of the first casualties. lol.

they have those projects, if i can find contact info, i'll let you know.....personally, i was looking forward to the idea of modding mine (i like to mod stuff, check my gallery, all i got is nerf pics, but i'm at college, my REAL modded stuff is at home). no, i don't wanna be in an accident, but comon, at least i'd get some fun (hopefully) outta it if it happened *prays it doesn't happen, i like my arms, legs, and other body parts*
