This sketch was done as an exercise to improve my workflow, I gave myself 2 hours to paint this without preparation or reference. As I am not used to this type of speed at all, its very very very very messy
Despite not looking very pretty, it definitely helped me to work more systematically and focus on the big picture. Will definitely do more of these !

the "messy" background kinda fits in the picture, because it seems like a smoky battlefield
