Description
My 3rd attempt at doing a portrait, probably my best one so far, HOWEVER i had to scan it in 2 pieces and despite my best efforts some traces of a scan line still remains..So there he is, the Joker from the Dark Knight batman film.
I thought Heath Ledger's performance in that was superb and perfectly captured the Joker's personality. RIP Heath Ledger.
Any critique/comments would be grealy appreciated

Oh how angry I was at Heath Ledger dying after such a performance. He was like the best villain ever in that film. I know I shouldn't, but I am still angry he is dead. I think the drawing is great. Somehow his eyes look a bit tired to me though rather then angry or intense.

That's bloomin' amazing
All the shading around the wrinkles in his face look pretty much perfect.
I'm amazed at this,

Very very nice.
Doing and learning some pencilwork myself.
But i wonder. Is this on a A3 paper? And how the heck did you get rid (remove it almost completelly) of the annoying middle scanner line?

yes its on an A3 paper, for the scan line i basically went into photoshop and trimmed the edge of the 2 pieces a little, then used some graphite texture brushes to fill it in.

yea, that i know i did film study in English.
What i mean is that the perspective is sort of like you are looking at him from above, but not quite bird's eye view.
