Description

Haven't done any digital art in a while, felt a bit disorientating staring at the screen and not seeing where my hand was moving. Finally got the hang of using the mixer brush in Photoshop, made blending a hell of a lot easier.
Character design inspired by the Landsknecht mercenaries of late-medieval Europe, who wielded giant swords and had incredibly swag costumes.
Did a bit of research on historical arms and armor for the drawing. Apparently two handed swords (Zweihänders) up to 6 foot long made in the 16th Century only weighed about 3 kgs !
