Well, since i got given a month subscription ship, im gonna try my hardest to submit as many things as i can xDThis is my 4th attempt at a portrait..except its not a portrait but animal face...same thing xD
This is one of the few drawings that ive finished within in one go, took only about 6 hours.
Done with hb and 3b pencil

Yea thanks, interesting how people you know in real life are so much easiser to critisize isnt it...xD but i think i did kind rush that part, this didnt take very long to draw.

This picture was actually much easiser to do than my last one, the fur had a really regular pattern and i didnt have to look at the reference so much.

When finding the correct pattern , drawings get more easier, specially because you shouldn't have to look at the reference too much, i think that is more difficult to draw stuff with a lot of hair, since (from my point of view) i found it complicated to hair identhical to a reference. Good work my friend!

One question... any particular reason why you coloured the background black digitally? It looks unnatural :/

Yeah that looks better. If you really think a white background is too plain, you could always add a light shade of grey, perhaps vary the brightness a little to give it some variation. Photoshop could easily take care of that. Add a layer underneath the drawing and set the drawing layer on Multiply so you can see what you draw underneath without erasing the white. Buuuutt I'm sure you knew that already :]

because it felt blank...and i had to scan my scanner cant scan A3...so i seriously cant be stuffed filling it up, and piece togather the scans + editing them..
I might change it back some time later..
