I'm afraid I'm having a hard time making out what's happening. I understand that JuJi gets attacked and there's a fight... but from about halfway down (where the figures are in shadow) I'm lost. Please clarify?

oh, yeah that is kind of hard to understand. You mean the dark shadows right?
basically my character intended to stab juji in the gullet but missed. He accidentally stabs his own dead ally in the face but continues with his attack. He spins around and uses his leg as a kind of a clamp. Then he pulls on the chain and rips his allies face off.
