Description
Althought its more of a stalemate technically I thought I'd make this which looks like the white pawn is about to get wailed on by 3 black pawns....hes backed into the corner but there is no-where else to go nowdecided to get back into 3D Studio Max so I've been flicking through tutorials and such and this is what I came up with...the lighting was pretty quick and simple (I wish I knew more about it at this point) but it still gets the meaning across....i think :S

thanks for the comment mate...and yeah the background wasnt really anything special (I just put a plane up and threw a pale blue colour on it) mainly becuase I was mucking around trying to figure out some properties in max...I will get better (hopefully)

I did struggle with the lighting...its about the only thing in Max that i havent read anything on -i just picked some light and hope for the best :S oh well

im going to be probably doing a whole series of chess pictures very soon too...I like chess and I liked making this so I think I'll make an entire board and all the peices and see what fun I can think up.
