Description
I wanted to make a scene where:a) I created my own grass texture; and
b) there was no real dominant land feature (too many times a lake or big mountain takes the focus...not this time - I wanted the whole terrain to fit together)
c) it looked like it might possible exist...somewhere

Amazing work, the sky is so realistic, the way the the moutains in the background have a transparent look compliments the your mountain scene.

Wow... I still think it's a photo... No, but that's really realistic! The only thing I can see that looks less real is the conture of the mountains in the background to the left, some look unnaturally sharp and the slopes too smooth. Another thing is that the mountains in the middle of the pic look a bit transparent. But, nevertheless, a great job!

thanks for the comment. its good to hear from new people
i did notice the two things you pointed out, the sharpness of the rocks and the 'transparency', but didnt bother to change them. The sharp rocks....well i think they just happened. As for the transparency I spent several minutes looking at that and I came to the conclusion that its just an illusion due to the fog. hehe well illusion or not it still bloody looks like its transparent and I couldnt get rid of it...
anyway thanks once again for the comment and for the things you notice (itys good to get such feedback)
