Description
Material:Pencil: Derwent Graphic Soft: H, F, B, HB, 2B, 5B and 9B.
Pen: Stabilo Sensor Fine Liner (black), Stabilo Permanent (black).
Gel: Thick Red smooth ink, Thick Black smooth ink.
Paper: Daler Rowney: A3 in size, yet image is A4 in size. 150 g/m²
Creation Time: 55 hours, (spun out over 7 days).
Influences/Inspiration:
1. Jeepers Creepers: More so the Dungeon type place the creature had.
2. Nightmare on Elm St: Mainly the bloody half skinned corpse. And the Dark figure.
3. Human Body: The Internal Muscular Structure.

thank you very much. The eagle was a test, i used a photo reference from a photo taken by a family friend, Im glad to say that its more or less the same in appearance, only in traditional means. The mouse i added in at the last minute.

its one of the best ways, that way, once youve done enough, you dont have to use references then

U should have checked out my gallery with the "Bald Eagle Meeting" deviation to have a good subject to look at when u did your eagle. The eagle could be better but it's a good pic

I used a photo reference for the eagle taken by a friend of the family, and the eagle is only 5cm on the paper, so doing a lot of detail was tricky, but its exactly like the photo, only much much smaller and i just added the mouse myself. Thank you though

This is really great. It kinda makes me think of old b/w horror movies with a bit of guts & gore added here and there. I really like the way the red parts stand out. Nice shading.
