so there's proof that our ancestor were aliens or that our ancestor mated with baboons or gorillas
hey maybe there was a planet of the apes in the past. that would explain the wicked stuff that happened in jesus' time

Squick! *squeaks, would hide under bed, if not stuffed with sketchbooks and art crap* but VERY well done! This is an awesome picture. Horrific, yes, but the /detail/ is amazing. and the eyeballs in the jar? messed up . . . but . . . whew. . . I can see why this picture took so long. Hope you put fixative on it! What was the size of this picture?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

devouredex In reply to AgnesPterry [2006-07-17 03:15:06 +0000 UTC]

A4 size, i had to use a magnifying glass for the eagle and the detail on the Grand Father clock as my eyes were going freaky. Theres teeth in a test tude too next to the jar. Thank you very much for the comment

Red-Isabell In reply to ??? [2006-07-17 03:03:21 +0000 UTC]

Wow, that's absolutely psychotic. I think I may be in love. I'm digging the way the muscular structure is such a vibrant red (...strange, how muscules would be red... ) and is in the forground, it truly pops out against the ivory colors of the background. It's a rather fascinating piece of work. Great job!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

devouredex In reply to Red-Isabell [2006-07-17 03:12:37 +0000 UTC]

Why thank you very much yea, the extra red is blood, which makes it slightly brighter. Thank you once again

I'd love it too, man--this is freaking incredible. In fact, this may be my favorite piece of yours yet. Beautifully drawn (as usual), and intelligent in that there is obviously significance to each piece of the whole. The eagle looks awesome, and that skinned figure is--of course--gory and wonderfully rendered. There are just so many small, subtle details, I could just keep staring at it. Awesome job, man.

Thank bud. My scanner flashed when scanning so the top part is a little lighter than what i wanted, but if i tweak too much il take away some important parts. so the upper part is a little brighter than i wanted, but meh. thank you very much once again, and for the favourite. My favourite part does have to be the eagle.

Tomoran In reply to devouredex [2006-07-17 14:29:35 +0000 UTC]

Hey, it looks great to me. One thing I've learned about scanners is, no matter how bad they butcher your original image, no one else besides you seems to notice. Great job, man. That eagle rocks.
