Brief:
this is the first Portrait I have done in a while, I'm not really a portrait person, just wanted to draw someone.
I used the front cover of 'Humble Pie' as a Reference. As you can see there are slight differences. I didn't include the pin strips, cannot do them, simple as. I slightly altered his expression and altered the colour of the shirt.
As you can see, the back ground wall is all beaten up and well worn. I used references to the Moon here, worked well I must say.
To say I'm not a portrait Artist, I am pleased with this.
Materials:
- Pencils: Derwent - H - B - F - 4H - 6H - 3B
- Colour: Derwent Studio - Spectrum Blue 3200
- Pen: Stabilo Fine Liner - Black
- Paper: Sea White of Brighton - A4
Creation Time:
- 15 Hours 45 Minutes (Roughly, over two days)

The background is cool, good work and amazing detail, I have nothing bad to say about it except that the guy could be in color while the background is black and white. I think that would make it pop. It looks a bit bland all being the same color. I'm not one for black and white though.

Lol, yea this was just a mess around. Portrait aint my speciality. So skin colours i definitely cannot do at all which it why i left it b/w. Just wanted to add a little colour to make a difference. Thank you.
