I know how you feel, I resently finished my first attempt at digital painting (not having much suitable stuff for the job) and although it's not great I was happy with it.
I like how your overall picture came out. I think the ear is particulaly good.

I'm a traditional artist by trade, but wanted to venture more into other mediums, also gives me more respect for those who are experts at it. Not as easy as some may think is it.

I completely agree, my sister is a traditional artist and she refuses to accept that digita; art is 'real' art, but I think it takes as much skill and practice to be good at digital art as it does traditional.
