Scene 1 : The College Guy

So Dev is the common, modern College-goer guy with tattoos all over, and hair which makes people wonder whether he is a cross between a man and a peacock. He is standing at the road-crossing when a biker comes up and parks beside him. The bike is a Suzuki Hayabusa - the latest - six-valve engine, 350+ kmph speed, super futuristic design. Which blows our friend Dev off his feet. He stares at it as if seeing Angelina Jolie "naked". The biker thinks "Shit, thats a homo" - and he drives off.

Scene 2 : The Biker

So he got this bike second hand - did a bit of "polishing" up. Wherever he goes people turn and look at it. And when he goes to the club he is the most interesting person out there. But this was not so few days back. He was always the "guy who sits in the corner" - heck he doesn't even have a girlfriend even now when girls swoon over his bike. But he knows deep down - they only love his bike not HIM.
The other day - he spots a couple brimming in their own romance, riding on a bike (much lesser in stats than his). The girl kept nudging the boy's hair and biting his ears. He stared at them like crazy for some moments - his mind flying off to imagining things - and he rode off with a heavy heart.

Scene 3 : The Lovers

It was a magical night at the Atrium when Vic proposed to Cat. Since then they have hardly been spotted separately in public. They even dont let go off each others hands. Given a chance they wud shout to every person in the world "WE ARE IN LOVE". And when they are on Vic's bike their love somehow becomes an addiction.
Few days ago when they were stuck at the traffic signal outside a mall - they spotted a mother carrying her baby in the prambulator. Cat somehow gets crazy at this sight - and she speaks to Vic about her intent.
"Are u crazy - I cant marry u now - got to find a stabler job than being a cable guy". Cat is dissapointed. So when the lights go green they ride off - but it took time (some days) for Cat to accept the reality - that she cant have a baby just now.

Scene 4 : The Mother

She came from very high society, but that didn't hinder her from marrying an ordinary Govt clerk. Coz she loved him like mad. And now after the baby, he left her to fight the World on her own. She works in the mall now and has to carry her baby to where she works coz she cant leave the baby alone in the rented apartment where they live.
Everyday she walks past the D'Damas jewellery showroom and looks longingly at the necklace in the window. Solid 24 carat gold, the design - mythical, ageless. And the blue pendant at the center. Price - she thought if given nine lives like a cat she may have earned that much.
But one day - she doesnt see it any more. So she decides to go in and ask about that. It was at the door that she gets her answer. It was Mr. Le Blues - the famous investment banker whos marriage ( the fourth one ) is all over the papers. She says to her baby - "See that man, I want u to buy that necklace from him when u grow up". She smiles and somehow her baby smiles too, which it rarely did.

Scene 5 : Mr Le Blues

He loves fame. Or is it the other way round - Fame loves him. From his college days he has been in the news for all good and bad reasons. He cant be blamed if he was born into such an illustrious background. But he does love all the attention. Days when he is not on Page 3 are "so boring !!" His previous marriages failed becoz of this - he knows that. But he cant help it can he ?? Fame is his mistress who is dear to him than anyone else. And his fiancee Camellia better understand that quick enough. If she doesn't - well who cares. Atleast the necklace will make headlines, he thought.
Again some day at some traffic signal where his car was stuck - a boy in his early twenties came up beside his car and produced a comb out of nowhere and started combing his peacock-like dyed hair, infront of the closed black window-pane just on the other side of which Mr.Le Blues was sitting. "Rascal" thought Mr.Le Blues. The boy went away after satisfying himself. And when the light went green, the famous "Rolls of Le Blues" rolled on too. But the illustrious investment banker cudn't help but touch his bald-plate once and let out a deep sigh. He wished he had so much hair as the boy.
The boy in question - is our friend Dev from the first scene !!

Who am I ?? Lets say I am of the common "poor" in the city in which all of these people live. And have my own small business at roads and traffic signals....
