"What's so unusual about that, princess?" he asked quietly. "Do you know how your story ends?" --Dustfinger, Inkheart--Paul Bettany as Dustfinger from the upcoming movie 'Inkheart'. That's Gwin on his shoulder. It's my first time drawing a marten.
Done in 3 hours with reference material using F, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B and 8B pencils and a cotton bud in my sketchbook.

A minor correction: Gwin is a marten in the books, but they used a ferret in the movie instead.
So, I technically drew a ferret instead of a marten.

You really know what to do with a pencil and it's so evocative that it absolutely makes me want to see the Movie ( I didn't , yes I know it's bad bad bad...

I can't wait to watch the movie when it comes to Malaysia (which I guess won't be 'till next year).
But 'till then, I guess I'll hafta content myself with trailers, fanart and the Inkheart book. And when I find Inkspell, that too...

Aw , I thought I missed the release but no , in France its comes only January the 28th , so it's cool !
I'd love to see Paul Bettany again because he played with Heath Ledger in " A Knight's Tale " and he was so great !
I didn't know much about the plot of "Inkheart" so I just read the page of IMDB about it . It seems pretty cool
Now I'm going to look forward too !
