Description
I had nothing to do, and since Dero is my imaginary boyfriend (don't judge), I decided to whip out Photoshop. While I know he isn't, this photo screams "smug bastard" to me. I can see him thinking in that moment something along the lines of "Yes! World domination by controlling the minds of thousands of women was a genius idea!" Oh, and some evil laughter, too.
I happen to unfortunately adore the smug bastard look on just about anyone. The entire time Photoshopping this, I was thinking, "You're such a dirty boy..."
I think it's the pose.
I'm so inappropriate, haha.
But no, I'm running out of ideas I think when it comes to me casually Photoshopping. This therefore isn't super-awesome-amazing-o.
Boo. 3
Also, I feel kinda guilty for being all "0mGzzz D3R0!" all the time, 'cause I do love Crap and Flux too. So next time I get some inspiration, it'll be all three of them together.

I have this to say. He looks as though he is thinking: Fangirls, I rule your world. Come and have a taste. I am that awesome. I know it is a little ummmm well.... but so true.

I think Dero is everyone's imaginary boyfriend ^^ though when Dero doesn't wanna play video games with me, I totally go and annoy Crap.
And I can totally see the same 'smug bastard' ina lot of his facial expressions...I reckon he'd be a bit of a smart arse, a funny one, but a smart arse none the less!

I was lucidly dreaming the other day while talking in my sleep, so I know I was talking, and I'm almost positive I was having a conversation with Dero about our love-children, haha, despite the alarming 23 year age gap.
Surely he's very witty and sarcastic. I have trouble controlling my own laughter sometimes, and I bet I'd be laughing (see: giggling like a school girl) all the time by his clever remarks.

Aww I have had similar dreams - I even bothered to mention him that he is literally the age of my father.
Dero dreams = bliss. Even if we do wake up sad after having them, because we have to remeber that they weren't real -crys- now I've upset myself
Oh I agree with that too.
However, the faces he pulls and the look in his eyes at times, are so damned close to those that my uncles, grandfathers and dad/s pull. I'm like "I know that face, you smirky person you -waggles finger at picture on computer screen-"

when it comes to dreaming about him... I just write stories about it instead*lame* but that way I remember what happened. Unfortunately he older than my oldest sibling. So it'd be like being in love with my oldest cousin. Not that anyone here really cares.
That and Men that I know are envious of him in the least. Guy friend of mine said that he'd turn gay just for Dero. That is fan dedication. *creepy* but dedicated

Oh, I have dreams of him too and write the occasional fanfiction ^^
And he is about 18-years older than me, which makes him 2 years younger than my mother and 1 year younger than my biological-father and my dad
Sometimes I thought I should find my total love-crush on him wrong (when I think about how he is literally old enough to be my father) but then, I don't give a shit in the end!
I don't think any of my friends actually like OOMPH!, though I know a number of my guy friends who would turn gay for Till Lindemann.

Anywho, thank you. For a reason unbeknownst to me, I keep giving him that godly-glow effect.

We've made Dero an imaginary polyamorist, haha.
I feel like everyone is all hyped up on Dero (I am, and I don't blame anyone else, hah); but, I'll watch the making-of video things on Youtube and while I can't understand a word of what they're saying without subtitles, Crap and Flux do/say funny stuff too.
And thank you! I suck with compliments.

Lolol I love you for saying "polyamorist" but we totally did.
I sometimes my Dero fetish is annoying to my friends, as it is a very extreme fetish. And Crap and Flux are hilarious half the time. They make me smile
Hehe, no problem! ^^ I really like your photoshop stuff, especially since photomanipulation blows my mind when people are good at it.

I think my friends think it's irritating sometimes too, 'cause we'll be talking and I'll suddenly relate that back to Dero or Oomph!. Or we'll be talking online and I'll be over on Youtube watching videos of him/them and giving the friend a link. It's ridiculous, but I can't help myself.
And I see that you can draw. I like your stuff, and I wish I could do that. Unfortunately, if I try to draw a person, for example, they look like some deformed monster from the worst student in the worst film school's $100 horror film with the worst editing imaginable.
So I guess we're even, haha.

my friends are just like me in that we love Dero, so that it makes no difference. Eventually everything becomes Dero related. A Crap and Flux do slip in there, especially when Flux is licking a sign behind Dero's back...

I'm slowly working Oomph!/Dero into the minds of my friends, haha.
I recently got both one of my best friends and my German teacher into Oomph!
And my friend loves Dero too, so we fight about who gets him and who has to wait for his son that's 7 years our junior all the time. ;] I'm winning Dero at the moment, haha.

I am in the process of introducing my German teacher to Oomph! as well. Some of their songs really are quite understandable. Labyrinth is pretty strait forward with the directionals and all. Usually we listen to peter fox and Rammstein. I told her that oomph is better than both. She's married to a German, so i didn't have to mention Dero. I keep him to myself.
How long have you studied German? I have been taking it for four years, and hopefully will have two more German classes.

devynn7x In reply to liebedero [2010-09-28 01:56:25 +0000 UTC]
We were looking into German music a while ago and we started off with Rammstein and Unheilig; I mentioned that over this past summer I learned how to count to ten from Augen auf! and it started this whole thing. She's bought a few CDs since then.
Actually, this is my first year of German. The language isn't offered in my district, so my my friend and I are doing an independent study with one of the Spanish teachers. But she used to teach German when the language was offered.
It's going well, though. I'm looking forward to continuing it in college next year.

really? Well, I learned 1-10 when i was like six but that's a result of my older sibling who took German in High School(much older) and i just kept learning. I'm having a great time with it. Glad to see that other people really get into German too. My family originally is from Cologne and Bohemia, so there is a lot of German culture in my home. Good friend of mine can trace her heritage back to some German King. I just love the language(and the music, lol)

I'm not so lucky, as I'm 1st of 2 kids.
I have quite a bit of German heritage myself. On my father's side, one of my relatives found out that we have ties to Kaiser Wilhelm I and the like. I live in an area where a large amount early Germans settled in America, so a lot of people have German heritage here. Also, we have some of the Pennsylvania Dutch (/Amish) community around here. But I also live where xenophobia is everywhere and conservatives screw up everything, so, go figure.
I do love the language. I just love the way it sounds. I love the German culture too. I'm just a Europe freak in general, haha.

liebedero In reply to devynn7x [2010-09-28 20:42:49 +0000 UTC]
That's really neat - xenophobia! That is sad. I agree completely about the conservatives. I live in a very conservative area too, and my family isn't that way, so it kinda sucks. I've had two exchange students come and live with my family. One last year, and the other the year before, both from Europe, a girl from Germany and a boy from Slovakia. That helped me alot with the language. seek out any exchange students in your area. They really help and are completely awesome. The German girl we had. She didn't know about Oomph! until I told her. How sad.

My whole family is just a bunch of conservative, religious northeast hicks. I'm the weird liberal daughter who thinks staying in this area would drain the life out of me. But hey, what can you do?
I'm jealous of your exchange students, haha. My school has only had Chinese and Colombian exchange students, so no language dice on my end. Although, I'm making damn sure I go to a university with a large international base so I can get in touch with my multi-cultural side.

Ugh, yeah. I'm not exactly sure where you live, but in the States we have the government financial aid, and from the estimates, it looks like I'll be getting a good chunk. But yeah, keep an eye out of scholarships and grants, because those will definitely come in handy. I won a $500 scholarship recently, and while that doesn't seem like much, I can use it for just about anything.
But considering my educational goals and where I'm looking to go, I will definitely have debt. It sucks to think about.

In Minnesota, right? I glanced over that one in my search earlier this year. It looked nice. For me, I'm really looking into University of British Columbia. It's on the US Dept. of Education's roster, so to speak, so I'm still eligible for fin. aid.
Well generally, if Minnesota is in-state for you, you'll get more government assistance than if you were going out-of-state. I think at some point, if you want a quality education and a solid college experience, you've gotta fork over your (young adult) life to loans. I am personally looking into every way out of that, but I'll still have loans.
If the increasing rate of tuition were a person, they would get punched in the face repeatedly.

liebedero In reply to devynn7x [2010-09-29 00:22:08 +0000 UTC]
for me, it is out of state, but we have an agreement between the states that says they will be just like any other state college. My siblings already went through everything, and they got off just fine, all theirs are paid off, so i think it will be just a little worse, yeah know since things here suck now...

I certainly don't think so. The wedding gown bit, I was fourteen. It was for my sister and she was in the dressing room and I was just looking. I'm told that I act mature, so I guess that I sort of give off this older vibe. dunno. maybe it was the shorter hair. now its longer again. I look younger and That gladdens me to no end!
