Ssso I heard you like horror art? No? Ah well I do anyway.
This is heavily inspired by Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which I've been playing recently. It can't count as fan art though, because there's no monster like this in the game. I just wanted to be creative.
In Amnesia you're not supposed to be looking at the monsters for too long (hence the title) or you'll go all insane and the screen fucks up and shit, I kinda wanted that effect here.

I didn't often scream out loud like that, only at certain jump scares. I was just going "ohshitohshitohshit holy geezush what was that oh shiiiit nnnoooooo" all the time. Sometimes I was too scared to make any noises at all, as if the monsters would hear me >xD

Hmm I never really cared much about wakening my parents, like I said I just did it because I in some way thought the monsters would hear me, as silly as I am. I was always so pissed at Daniel for panting and stuff haha, I was like "DAMMIT SHUT UP THEY'RE GOING TO HEAR YOU!"

He's pretty cool though because he's actually brave as hell, walking around in the dark with monsters everywhere even though he's scared shitless. If that stuff happened to me I'd probably just stay hidden in some safe corner somewhere until I starved to death D:

Dark? Not really. Interface screw? Not really, either. I can still see its overall shape pretty good. I'm not sure if distorting it will do you any, good, though.

From my understanding of Amnesia, when you see scary shit like that, your vision warps a fair bit. Walls twist and bend, faces in paintings start to look intimidating... I believe yours lacks that.
Otherwise, you can relax. The lighting's fine. I mean, it's perfect, really. If you want to, you can always make a scrap submission for darker screens and link it to this post. =)

Well, I didn't want to warp the image too much. And you know, I never aimed at making an exact representation of Amnesia (obviously, since this monster isn't even in the game). I was simply inspired by the game and I sort of wanted its feeling, that's all c:
