Back when a new Spidey title was set to launch (Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man), artist Mike Wieringo posted up some of these sketches as he tried to figure out how he'd handle drawing the character today. Seeing them online, I thought it'd be fun to see how my style would mesh with Wieringo currently. I had the opportunity to ink a few pages back in Tellos #9 over Mike...but it's been awhile since then. So anyways, that's the story.

And Mike runs one of the coolest blogs on the web, showing a lot of sketchbook and preliminary art, as well as his overall feelings about working in the industry. It's pretty much a must-read for me on a daily basis. You can check it out here: [link]
