Wow, maybe next time I try to get a shot of lightning I should lower my iso. I see your's is on 200; it never would have dawned on me that lightning is bright light. Dur, lol.
Excelent photo

Low iso, f8 or 11 and bulb, and just hold open the shutter
until you have a few strikes.(if its dark out, won't work in bulb
if it isn't dark.)

Thats what I figured, keeping the shutter open. It just never dawned on me that lightning is, uh, bright. Lol.
Thank you C=

So how do you get those?
Do you push the button and hope for the best, or have a special camera for this?
Awesome shot

I shoot canons, but I use bulb exposure.. So I can
hold open the shutter for 5 or more seconds.

That is certainly one ominous sky with those thunderbolts flashing through, makes this a brilliant photo!

It was a few miles away, so I was mostly past
my location.

down. Thanks.

It's very rare that we get lightening here. Usually it a few strikes and blows out before I can grab a camera. I liked the way the trees are in siloutte and the clouds are in highlight in your shot. Again brilliant!
