Description Redtail study, removed some brances, chgd the sky, and
did a little artwork on the redtails eye. So the image is not 100% original, but 100% accurate. Shot in the wild.

it's absolutely stunning! not only the removed branches are not visible, but you were also able to clone out the branch on the bird!!! I wish I had that skills

Lovely image, you have done a great job with it.

I was out Owl spotting earlier, spoke to a Woman i know who regularly has a friend over to hunt with his Redtail, i have taken shots of it in the past, anyway the bird has just turned 17yo.

Thanks.. I had no idea they could get
that old. Awesome, This red tail had
caught a rabbit in pretty heavy brush and
the rabbit escaped. I could see some fur
and blood, but no rabbit. I think thats
why I could get so close.

Thanks.. I believe my artwork is accurate. I was
a wildlife painter for 10 years. So I have some
experience.

I'd love to see the original as well. The bird itself looks great but the sky is lacking depth or something and I'm thinking the other branches might have given it that. I'm still amazed at how you can get these shots at all. It's motivated me to try some of the flying ones and I've had some success but haven't gotten around to posting them yet. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation.

Thanks for posting the original. I agree that some clean up needed to happen but I don't find it so bad. I like the blue sky in this one much better but I think that leaving a few more branches would really add depth to it. The bird is amazing in both of them!

Yes, you're probably right, I sometimes
get carried away. I decided I wanted this
one to look like it was in a text book.

The fact that you can do it at all is amazing to me. I think that's a talent in itself.

I guess I'll give myself a break then since I think it's been about 7 weeks for me and that's only when I can squeeze time in outside of my classes and my family.

Have a great day.
