That are just basic spells. In my fantasy world magic is very common thing. My race of Ostracii have proverb stating that: "Where technology cant go, there sends the magic." Magic in my world is fueled by well known force called "mana". Mana is the power which resides in all inanimate objects and in plants. There is second major force existing in my world, called psionics. Psionics is sheer willpower of user and is fueled by her/his "chakra", the force residing in all living beings. Plants are vessels for both "mana" and "chakra" forces, but best vessels for these forces are all sorts of crystals and gemstones and some kinds of metals.
