Description
Speed video showing the page being drawn: [link]This is a page from Thor #620.1 which came out today from Marvel Comics with art by me(please grab a copy won't you?). It was the first time I did the book primarily digitally and took the opportunity to video myself doing a page from the book from start to finish. It's 9 hours of work condensed down to just a few minutes.
Dont entirely in photoshop CS1 with a cintiq and custom brushes. Colors by the amazing John Rauch!
EDIT!: glitch fixed and it's now viewable internationally!
Hope you dig!
-Mark

Awesome video, really interesting to watch and your pencil brush is so pencilly if it weren't clearly in photoshop I'd have sworn it was on paper.

9 hours spent on a single page. Shows in the amazing detail. How many pages do you make a day? Two at the most I'd assume?

I spend a lot of time on a single piece of art, which I always thought was too long. It makes me feel better to know that a true professional spends a lot of time on their work. This is an amazing piece.

Dude, I love Thor, I'm a massive fan and I hate how marvel keeps contracting different artists per every arc, as you generally fall in love with the art style and when it's taken away you feel like the story takes a dip. This is some great, GREAT stuff, and I hope you stay on the Thor run for as long as possible

The video was awesome as is the completed work. I can never see Thor the same way after watching you work and I grew up reading Thor with original art from Jack Kirby. Keep up the great work.
