I drew this one as a part of my Mudflats of Gorp series. The warrior is not the Angle Saxon paragon that shows up in the other drawings. This guy was Sir Le Mort when he was just starting out as an evil barbarian. He was supposed to defeat this monster and find the Hammer of Fiends. In the ink drawn picture of him in full plate with his lizard soldiers in accompaniment, he is leaning on the hammer.Related content

I try. I actually got so good at pencil for a while, that I could draw almost completely without lines. I got real good at textures and had some good depth to my drawings. What did you think of my charcoal studies?

You use different kinds of coal, charcoal from burnt wood, to draw with. It is very messy, but you can get some interesting shading with it.

your welcome. i once drew a huge mural under a bridge using charcoal from a homeless person's previous fire. it came out pretty good. then some stupid kids spraypainted over it.
