One of the books I really got into when I was in the 8th grade was Dante's Inferno. I had a very vivid imagination and was influenced for a while to draw all kinds of scenes of damnation and torment to souls in the Christian belief system, hence the drawing of souls getting out of the boats. The caption read, "Please stay in line and keep your hands and feet in the boat." I thought it was a hoot that a devil would say that, proof once again those lawyers in Hell had managed to get liability lawsuits enacted in the infernal court system. If you look closely at the gate with the mouth, above it in early Dethik runes is the first line to the gate sign in Dante's story. You know, “Abandon all hope ye who enter here..."
