Description
This took quite a bit of time and work to get all those spiderlegs and shine lines in the right place, but I'm not as excited about it now as I thought I would be. I don't like the curve of the scimitar for one thing, but I'm positive the main reason is the EXTREMELY!!! dubious"fan" "art"
of Dib I haven't been fortunate enough to avoid. I'm only posting this now because of all the work I put into it.

Hmmmmm, I don't usually take requests, and I have decided I will never again draw Dib for this page. It's not enough that many hate Dib; there are also the Dib "fans" who may just as well come out and admit they hate him. 
Of course I don't include you in any of this; I'm just saying the situation got so bad that I'm just not comfortable drawing Dib here any more. 
That sub, btw, was a gift from someone! I may be more active now because of that. So did you have a request... that does not involve Dib?

I completely agree with this! While I admit, SOME deviations of ZaDR MIGHT be funny, but the idea itself... is just wrong all together.
The only romances I would ever let Jhonen get away with, if they didn't make him sick to his ill-prone belly, is ZaGR or DaTR. Those are reasonable, but I think DaTR has a higher possibility.
But, all in all, canon is the best.

Thanks! If there just a handful of them out there I could have seen some humor in them, but it went way beyond a joke several million light years ago. If Dib and Zim aren't in conflict, the show disappears.

Dib liked Tak at first, but before long he hated her so much he was willing to team up with ZIM to get rid of her. That's not world class hatred, that is universe class hatred.
This show is just not designed for romance. Not that that's stopping anyone.

But I forgot to mention: There is logical proof that Dib's head is NOT big. All cartoons are specifically designed NOT to have a big head than what would be possible in real life, because it doesn't match their body otherwise. Dib is a cartoon, and therefore has a perfectly normal-sized head.

Don't be silly. It's a great picture. The curve is fine. It doesn't matter if it's off. The point is you tried hard and it came out nicely. I laughed at the words. I hate fan art of them in bed, too. It's sick. Dib is only 9! He is not a sex toy! It's disgusting. I'm glad someone has some sense. I like ZiM's pose. Those legs are hard to draw indeed. You did a good job.

I have no idea how... or better yet, why... they find it as endlessly fascinating as they do. However I can tell you this much: from what I've been able to gather, they do not take child molesting into reality.
I can't understand the other thing you mentioned either. Why in the walls of the world would anybody think that's an improvement??? Aie aie aie... 
And they wonder why there isn't an anti-rapr or an anti-zagr club. Simple. Because rapr or zagr aren't in nine out of every ten IZ fanart pics you find, that's why.

To be sure, a few of them are gay, but I'd expect the percentage of gays among the z@dderers to be similar to the percentage of homophobes among those who are against it.
I'm at a loss for words to explain how anybody ever could picture these two being physically intimate, I really am. If I distrusted someone as much as Dib distrusts Zim I wouldn't take off my boots in front of him, let alone every stitch.
Sure, fighting is a form of intimacy, but I thought there was a distinction between the sort of intimacy that seeks out the other's most deeply hidden weaknesses the better to wound and defeat them, and the sort of intimacy that seeks to support and care for the other?? 
Love and hate are both strong feelings, but to me confusing love with hate is like confusing black with white.
As soon as I found IZ fanfiction, I found myself stepping into steaming piles of R everywhere. I remember reading a scene about the Tallests which very quickly degenerated into a lengthy description of take a wild guess. I'll describe it no further than that, only to say I wondered if I was still sane.

I think I know why they enjoy these sexual pleasures. For ALL the romances.
1.) They are homosexuals themselves. I don't have anything against being gay, i have friends who are gay, but homoPHOBES obviously wouldn't be doing it. Though this theory is my last resort it may be a reason with some people's cases.
2.) They are in general sex addicts and have gone so far to the deep end that they resort to children's television chows.
3.) the PARENTS of these kids who do these artworks are sexually active OR are in general bad influences to their children. Seriously, i saw a 13 year old drawing sexual scenes of cartoon chars including iZ.

Eh, there's a really good point there..... though i beleive RAPR is getting in second. Which is sad cause the Tallest practically hate each other. Wait... By the way, I myself started an Anti-RAPR club but was quickly run off by all the sickos. I swear a lot of those RAPR people are rude beyond beleif! With a few exceptions of some of my friends who like it...

That's what REALLY annoys me with some of the IZ romance fics you find out there! They're aren't ANY that find anymore that inclued a whole bunch of undeveloped OCs, OOC-ness and smut scenes everywhere! 
RAPR and DAGR(Dib and Gaz romance OR Dib and Gir romance)really grosses me out! 
I do like one IZ romance couple myself and that is ZATR. Well to me, it just seems to be the most possible if Jhonen ever DID decide to one day put romance in his show. It actually IS cute in my opinion(and whatever way you decide to see it), makes the most sense, they are of the oppposite sex(which is how romance is supposed to be), and they're both the same species. It's just cute me though!

Seriously! DX< I hate it when they just HAVE to add a lovey thing somewhere in there. Like, if they don't the entire story would suck and not be worth reading. I'm writing a fan fic series myself (when I'm not working on my original stuff) and I make the storyline go along best I can with the ACTUAL character's personalities and I don't have to add love anywhere in it to make it interesting. Though I DID get a complaint once by an RAPR fan saying "ohh if u don't make them luv each other then it SUKS!" )X<

Which is why the pairing itself makes me want to twitch and vomit. ooh, Jhonen really did mention something about them being brothers of some sort? I haven't listened to the commentaries in FOREVER. Probably 2 years ago XD
Yeah, that's one of the only sensible pairing out there. I don't mind it or DATR (Dib and Tak Romance) in the least bit since it makes more sense. The only flaw within those is that Irkens lost the ability to feel the emotion of love over the many years of their developement. But either way, it is TONS better then those other ones! D8<

Yeah, I think DATR is okay. They even showed hints of it in the episode "Tak, the Hideous New Girl" if you pay attention during the skool scenes of the episode! The kind of ZATR I like is the one sided ZATR where it's Zim who loves Tak. I just can't see it as Tak loving Zim. It's...too weird. And OOC. Especially since it was TAK who hated Zim in the first place!
In fact, I have story on my ff.net account called "The Arising of the Mutant GingerBread men of toxic DOOM!" that I have the storyline thought out but before writing the 2nd chapter of the story I'm trying to think of the characters would act in the situation. I haven't been able to update that story for days because of that!

What I meant was, there's so much z@dder on this site now that Dib and Zim as enemies actually looks unusual. If more of us DID draw them in battle, more people might realize how interesting THAT is, and start drawing more of it instead!
