i was one of the volunteers
i am also low blood sugar
my mother didn't remind me to grab a snack, and i didn't remember either.
i "crashed" halfway through my shift
that was not fun

not a pretty sight
for what was supposed to be 4 hours(they went over my shift by nearly a full hour) i dealt out samples of meatless meatballs and toquitos
had to keep smiling while doing this.
even while feeling like crap.
and saying "the meatballs ARE vegan, and they have wheat gluten, and the toquitos are vegetarian"
people kept asking "are these real meat?"
it's a vegfest sample food people, what do you think?
and then, for a bit, my table-mate got lost in the crowds of people.
so i was alone, for about an hour and a half, having to keep putting out food samples with only 2 tools.
a metal butter knife
and an old microwave that took forever to finish.

yeah....and another annoying thing about my life, my days are packed.
Wednesday, i got up at 5 AM and went to see my sister argue for a school funding bill.
then we met a senator who knew me when i was little, he used to work with my grandmother.
they mentioned her.
i cried in front of a senator.
Dale Brandland got to see me cry....i fail at life.
he's known me since i was little, but hasn't seen me or my gramma for ages.
he found out she died, they talked about her, and i started crying.
