Description

I think a lot of artists inspired by games love a chance to draw Samus, and I was thrilled OCRemix wanted me to do two pieces for them. (See the companion piece here: www.deviantart.com/dice9633/ar… )

I wanted this to be atmospheric; showing off the pretty environments of Brinstar, but also Samus connecting with her Chozo heritage (+ getting power ups!). The SNES game made these rooms a bit plain, so I wanted to embellish it and create something influenced by Chozo architecture/ruins found in other, more recent, Metroid games. ⭐
