Description
I think a lot of game-inspired artists love the chance to draw Samus; and I was thrilled when ocremix asked me to draw two pieces for them based off Super Metroid!(See the companion piece here: www.deviantart.com/dice9633/ar… )
I know the “transparent suit” idea has been done in a lot of ways, but I wanted to work with lots of the colours found in the SNES game, plus I really enjoyed drawing all the layers to this piece (you can see a video of me putting it all together from my Instagram post )

Nice!!! I remember I used to have one of the Samus games for the Wii. It was a bit creepy, but I was little when I started playing it.

Was it one of the Prime games or Other M ? Scary sounds more like Other M on some parts, but Metroid prime 1 was unnerving sometimes.

I think it was Metroid prime 1. I'm not so sure because I haven't played the game in years. Plus the game was unsettling and scary for both me and my brother. Also my mom also found it unsettling and unnerving. I think we donated the game when we were moving.

I have seen quite a few "layered" or "pulled apart" variations of Samus and her armor, but this one is by far my favorite! Awesome job!
