This is a painting I did over a year ago, but just realized wasn't posted on here. If you are unfamiliar with George Romero's Creepshow, this is from the story entitled "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verill". It stars Stephen King as a backwoods redneck hillbilly that witnesses a meteor crash in his backyard. After coming in contact with the slime from the meteor, a green moss-like substance began growing all over him and everything he touched. Well, this pic is pretty much gives away the end of that particular tale, but there are several other stories and reasons you should watch this movie for.18"x24" canvas, acrylics, Sharpie Paint (oil) pens, spray clear coat. 2 weeks (18-22 hrs)

That poor country bumpkin. I'm gonna drink some orange juice and vodka for new years in his honor, and hope I don't wake up in a bathtub full of moss. Goddamn that story creeped me out, more than the ones with Sam Malone getting buried neck-deep or the one with the apeman in the crate.
