Yup, 8th group show ko nung January 2005, Kalipunan, tingan mo sa Gallery, andun din yung iba pang Anamorphic works ko. Usu. mga works ko, interactive, dati nung exhibit ko may mga paintbombs, tapos lahat ng guest nagbato ng paint sa malaking canvas board, saya din! Hehe! pero more conceptual yung works ko nun. Salamat!

ok yon ha..the more interactive yung artworks mas masaya ang tao. can imagine how the people react to the paintbombs siguro feel na feel nila. astig ka talaga tsong. meron bang upcoming mga exhibits kayo?

Actually, tama ka dun, naniniwala kasi ko na yung artist may responsibility sa viewers, hindi lang makabenta, di ba? Natuwa sila, hahaha! Naalala ko, kasi yung ginamit ko na paintbombs mga condoms (Trust) (syempre bago at di pa nagagamit) na may laman na acrylic paint, tapos yun ipinasok (sa Parking Lot namin ginawa yung pagbato) namin sa Gallery yung Work nila habang tumutulo pa yung paints, nagka-splatter din sa Floor at Walls nung Gallery, hehehe! Yup, enjoy sila and natuwa din si Patrick Flores at Chabet, andun kasi sila. Pero matagal na kong nag-deviate from the Conceptual World, hehe!

Exhibits: September, tentatively dito sa UP CFA, Group Show
August, balak ko 1st One-Man show ko pero baka di na kayanin kasi June na, or
Before End of the Year sa Mag:net Katipunan, Group Show din.

Salamat, don't worry i'll post mga updates dito, masaya rin na makapag-share notes tayo.

Btw, Anamorphosis is not a new thing, some artists, like Da Vinci experimented on it (Da Vinci wrote it on one of his Journals, and never enjoyed it that much), They usually use Cylindrical Mirrors (i've tried this too) as anamorphoscopes. I'm Pretty Sure that i'm the first one to use spoons, and i'll take my secret techniques to the grave, hahaha! Most common anamorphs are those street signs painted on sloping roads for drivers to see, they are distorted, also Michaelangelo's David is An early anamorph, they just call it foreshortening those days, hehehe!

Yes, I did. It started as a plain thing, as a kid i was fascinated with my reflection in the mirror (talking about vanity) and then as i grew older i got into surrealism and stuff, double imagery and all, then i studied those concave mirrors you'll find at convenient stores...and then i ended up using aluminum pots but they're not as handy as i want it, so i tried spoons, and then i came across some really shiny teaspoons that are curved just right...then the story went on, hehehe! I first did these for my mini-thesis and i got an exellent mark and my advisers told me to continue working on it...i'm now experementing with Anamorphic shadows and lights for my images. Did you see my miniatures in my previous deviations (see my gallery) this can be printed and you can try using a spoon to "decode" the distortion. just don't sell it, but you can share it with friends, just credit me, ok? Anyway, im really hyper right now, pardon my talkativeness or (writiveness?) Ciao!

Anamorphosis, eto yung process ng redistortion, yung distorted image gagawin mong normal o hindi distorted, basta ganun, hehe! Tingnan mo yung iba pa sa Gallery ko, madami yan, eto yung latest, last January ko ginawa at isinama sa isang group show.
