Crappy try about Kolbe's other side.He's got some kind of schizophrenia, because whenever he's in danger or at bay, his inner monster wakes up, and attackes. It ends that he kills everyone who he sees.
When his 'other side' wakes up, he uses his nails and teeth to kill, and after that he eats some parts of his victims.

Because he haves schizophrenia. His personality has split to his true self, and his monster side. He has other mentally problems as well.
