Description

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Witch versions of some Star Wars villains: Palpatine, Dooku, Grievous, and Maul. Plus two familiars.

Dolores: The witch of known space. Her nature is perfectionism. She abandoned her friends and family long ago to work on her magnum opus. She has created a universe within her body, and will stop at nothing to achieve her vision of perfection - a theatre which everyone is an actor on her stage play.

Christine: The rose briar witch. Her nature is self-righteousness.  In her right hand she holds the sword which was used at her execution.  A tangle of sharp thorns prevents anyone from reaching her heart. The roses are the color blood. Her severed head appears to speak, but no words come out of her mouth.

Malvina: The junkyard witch. Her nature is self-loathing. She cannot bear to look at her lower half, which has become bloated and monstrous. She cannot dislodge the arrows stuck to her, least of all the one that pierces her heart.

Malvina's familiars: The junkyard witch's serrated minions. Their duty is to ward off intruders.

Shayla: The four-armed witch. Her nature is vengeance. The objects she holds in her hands are the tools of judgement. The one she put on a red wedding veil for was taken from her long ago, and she wishes to cut the subjects of her scorn with the same grief.

Shayla's familiars: The four-armed witch's mechanical bodyguards. Their appearance is a crude imitation of the witch's long dead friends.

Could you do one for Anakin/Vader, Obi-Wan, Padme, or Ahsoka?

I have one for Anakin designed and a good idea of what I'd want for Padme, but the other two I haven't got to yet.

Very cool!
Faved!

(I actually had a similar idea and drew a Witch Form for Ahsoka Tano a while back, but I haven't posted it yet.)

There's significant parallels between how the Jedi view "turning to the dark side" and PMMM views a magical girl turning into a witch.
It's all about dealing with negative emotions

I happened to marathon Star Wars and all three Madoka movies in a short span of time, so the ideas just flew into my head when I could see parallels of some of the Madoka girls with Star Wars characters. Thus I made [Puella Jedi]! And if time allows it I'll probably make more, or even a full story!

Empress Homura is so going to be a thing...

Wow, I wish I could draw in those art styles. You did well.

I try so hard, but I just can't seem to get it right. Maybe you could help me with things in these art styles?

Most of these were me starting with black lineart, but I deliberately made the lines jagged and exaggerated. I don't use beziers, so my lineart is inherently uneven.
The Magnaguards, for example, were a sketch I thickened up and then put an overlay texture over. Same with Maul and Dooku. It just takes practice to have a sketch that looks "witch" enough.
Some witch designs are collages of existing objects or "cutouts" of textures.  For Palpatine, I used an online tutorial on how to make a star field and cut out what I needed for the inside of the cape.

Hmm, I'll try that, but I dunno if I can do the same thing with the software I own. I currently own Adobe Fireworks and Manga Studio 5, and I'm not sure if they are capable of doing that.

Maybe you could help me some time. I'm working on a Madoka Magica Fan-Manga, and I need some Witches finished for it, and their art styles are very difficult for me. When you have time, maybe you could help me with them, if you are willing to that is.

I can take a look at whatever you have.
I actually use the latest version of the GIMP instead of photoshop. The features I use to make these are included with most photo editors.
