- Wayver has actually become heavyweight champ a few times.
- He’s also my first anthropomorphic boxer who’s also a Christian.
- Originally, Wayver was full of angst and insecurities, especially concerning his aversion towards senseless violence. But I decided to retcon this behavior to Wayver’s adolescence when he first started out in boxing and his current version is far more mature in comparison to imply that he learned a lot over the years.
- Wayver has never had any romantic flings or related relationships. That’s not to say he isn’t interested, but he seems to prefer keeping things simple for himself in terms of romance.

Oh my gosh Digi, can I have your babies.
After thinking about it for a long time, I realized that the biggest focus of our AatR run would SO have been Wayver. He is the greatest developed of our entered OC's by FAAAAARRRR. Honestly I've got a lot revealed about Aaron, but still wished to say more without blatantly going off on his basic backstory.
But I did it anyway.
You, on the other hand have said so much with so little, whoaly zen. I am impressed to tears. Just remember to show us some more of him in the future dear Brother.

Oh, thanks for the comment, though I kind of think differently about Wayver.
He may be the greatest developed to some extent, but that's only because he's been through a lot more and in a way he's a lot more mature. That doesn't mean he's flawless, but in terms of character growth, as of now, it's much harder for him than with Aaron or Areto. Wayver is a lot more interesting as a side character, a mentor of sorts who's on a different, more advanced and complicated journey - a journey that I'm not fully confident in portraying properly.
That's partly why I didn't use him as much as I used Dlaigo, who's still immature in a lot of ways.
I mean, there's a reason why most stories are centered around young, if not flawed people - they make interesting characters because you can see them grow, make mistakes and learn more than they expected. It's like watching a seed, where one wonders what it will become in the future.
To that extend, Wayver is close to being a full-fledged tree - there's still room for growth, but it won't be as visible because he's already so developed and mature. The only kind of story for him is one where we as readers learn more about him, instead of him learning.
Sorry for rambling there, but I'm just afraid of passing off Wayver as a static character, one who never changes because he's stabilized and constant, and possibly in a way where it might bore people somehow, like how an ordinary character would bore people because there's nothing special about him. But I'll try to show off more of him in the future. *hugs*
