ForWhere Aurel sees color without taking drugs or being punched in the face. It...makes sense in context? Also, Aurel gets wet a lot here.
I had some enjoyment drawing Renata here, even if I'm not used to drawing human females here.
And dang, her hair is really poofy - she needs to go to a hairdresser once this thing is over. At least drawing back shots of her is never a problem.

So this is how memory inception works! I was unsure when I was writing my entry, but I really love this. The side-by-side memories work really well together without conflicting or becoming confusing. It was a lovely touch. Also, I could not believe how adorable Aurel was in this--when he fell into the ocean during Renata's memory, I was just like "gaaaaahhh <3" He just seems so sweet.

Heh, great to hear you're enjoying him - it's rather fun making him all sorts of awkward when he was just this bland, boring, drug-addicted guy a few moments before. I'm really grateful I have you and your OC as opponents to work with.

I know, Aurel, ahhh...! He's so ingenuous...it's lovely seeing the 'heart' of someone who usually keeps it to themselves, I think.
As the person who came up with Renata, I would have to second the assertion that poofy hair is the most troublesome thing. I was really startled when I managed to give her some nice waves in the ref sheet--usually I find such things impossible. I tried to draw Aurel in an attempt to make a cover/illustration and then realized I had no idea what I was doing. I really do want to draw him, though...if for no other reason than that I owe you one, hahaha.

Yeah. XD I just wasn't expecting him to be like this as early as Round 1, but I think I can work with this new angle.
Ah, man, now I have to see what your sketch of Aurel looks like now, especially since you're quite great with non-human characters like your Thercerus.
