Flash is a Fjord. Fjords are one of the oldest horse breeds we still have today. Flash’s ancestors went to great lengths to keep the Fjord breed going in their family. Arranging marriages, selective breeding and so forth. You’d think his family would be ecstatic he was courting a princess, but no. Flash and his family had a falling out due to him going against their wishes and plans for arranged marriage. Flash has brothers and sisters to carry on the family tradition and the Fjord breed.
Fjords are kinda shortish, a little fluffy and usually have the mane cut short like Flash does here.
