Yes, the "1" means I'm planning on making more of these! They won't be spectacular, but I'm hoping to fill in a couple gaps and generally just have some last lulz.Also because I like lulz in general. The Rook series doesn't lend itself well.
So I imagine this one probably happened about twenty minutes after the end of the story, pre-epilogue. NamNar's prone to getting high off power and happiness. Des is still angry.

Actually, a friend was guessing his name, and that was one of the guesses. I promptly burst out laughing and decided to give it to him as his middle name. So the fault would lie more in the skittyverse than the regular universe.
Then who's the dark-haired monster? ovo Granted, there's four other candidates...

The Skittyverse would be a pretty cool place to live.

I'd say the dark-haired monster would be Lola, though Nick was rather monstrous. I love him anyway, though.

It could be argued that either Hanna or Vai could also fit the 'dark-haired monster' slot.

But here's some fun facts:
+Terrible fear of fire. With good reason; seeing your Skarmory melt in front of you would be pretty terrible. But you see, we never hear of his family again after that. I wonder what started that fire?
+He would not have hesitated to kill Nick or Lola. They would not have been his first.
+He is very proficient with those swords. So is Koel. They've had a lot of practice.
...And now I want cute kissy Vai/NamNar stuff.

Also, I wouldn't call him a monster because he's willing to kill. It's the reasons that he's killing for that decide his.. monsterness. And he is proficient because he KICKS ASS.

I was implying that Vai started the fire that killed Sarika, either intentionally somehow or accidentally.
Well, he has a certain casualness with killing that's not exactly a positive trait. I mean, my cast is full of murderers; that's not the kicker there. But one of the themes I was going for was that death was generally bad and causing it is not something to be taken lightly. X3; He does kick ass, though! :D!
I wouldn't ruin a story or plotline just for a ship, though! It's one of my rules.

It seems that some people will forever call him NamNar, and some people IMMEDIATELY switched to the new name. It'll get touched upon again with Ike's comic.
