3 panels? It's like being on vacation!To be fair, every pony comic is like a vacation, seeing as they're for my amusement, but you know what I mean.
Chrysalis understands what makes for a popular villain. If they thought Shining Armor's love made her powerful, wait until they see her after feeding on our Brony love all summer. It was her plan all along.
And a tree is the appropriate place for a chrysalis after all.
Edit: Is anyone having trouble understanding Chrysalis' text? Should I change it to a more normal font?

This is exactly what I thought when this plot point came up. "You're going to invade Canterlot and then from there All of Equestria", when Canterlot has the shield, and the rest of Equestria is entirely defenseless. That is a perfectly logical order of events. Worse yet, the only reason Canterlot was under protection is there was "a threat". Did the natural masters of stealth the changelings really decide that it was best to threaten before invasion? That makes perfect sense, had there been no "threat", they could've just waltzed in. Does Chrysalis follow the old european system of honor or something?

On the other hoof, Canterlot is the seat of government, and the likely HQ of Equestria's best troops. Shatter that, and the whole nation is ripe for the picking. Given that she was only foiled by a last-second Deus Ex Machina, I'd say Chrysalis had a pretty good game plan.

The Queen's text is fine, but it's a bit jarring that she is the only one with changed text.

Chrysalis's text is maybe a little bit harder to read, but not much so, and I like the idea of giving important characters unique font styles and/or colors.
