I once spent a year as a claims processor for a certain major insurance company whom I shall not name in order to protect their identity. I found out after I got the job that I was the only guy on a floor full of women in a multi-story office building. So, in addition to all of the usual bathroom jokes about the seat and all (grin), I got to attend a lot of "hen parties" whether I liked it or not. Most of the time I did ... and I got a certain feel for how the ladies talk among themselves sometimes, at least back then. The experience proved quite useful years later, when I did my second amateur comic strip about a young couple (she was a secretary, he was a computer technician) who eventually wind up getting married. It's also proving useful now with Autumn Spring.
